Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and is located in the south of the country near the Baltic Sea. The town is surrounded by water and has some fifty bridges to connect the islands to one another, just as the city is connected to nature, culture and tradition. Despite the growth of football, it is of course ice hockey that remains most popular in Stockholm, notably their team Djurgården IF Hockey, 16 time Swedish champions!
Founded in 2010, this team bases itself on the values of friendship, fun and of sharing and has for its ambition to win the 3rd Mountain Euro! Since its launch, the club was promoted twice within the top division. The team also won the gold medal at the Snow Soccer World Cup in 2010 at Ukkohalla and was a semifinalist for the 2012 event.
